Players of Beijing Ducks celebrate victory over Dongguan Marco Polo.

Beijing Ducks continued their unbeaten run at the 2011-2012 regular season of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league after nailing a 101-100 away victory over Dongguan Marco Polo on Sunday.

The Ducks, the eighth-placed team last season, refreshed their record to 4-0 and are the only unbeaten side in the 17-team league.

Center Randolph Morris was the hero of the Beijing Ducks, scoring team high 26 points and grabbing 21 rebounds. He also converted two decisive free throws less than three seconds to time to help the visitors rally from behind to go one point ahead.

Point guard Stephon Marbury had 24 points and 5 assists for Beijing. Young player Zhu Yanxi added 15 points.

Dongguan had a chance to win within regular time. The hosts once had an eight-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Beijing finally erased the gap with Morris shooting consistently.

When the scores were level at 90-90 in overtime, Morris continued his scoring momentum, while Dongguan couldn't find a solution, only for the visitors to clinch victory.

Dongguan, who made into the CBA semifinals last season, have yet to win a game in this season and remain at the bottom of the standings.

Joshua Akognon paced Gongguan with 25 points, while Randolph had 22 points and 20 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Shandong Gold suffered their first defeat, losing 81-66 to Jilin Northeast Tigers.

Shandong shooters missed their target from the very beginning of the game, with Alan Anderson and Tegba Othello Hunter combining for only 29 points.

Cartier Martin led Jilin with 21 points.

Jilin climbed to 9th in the league standings on a 2-2 win-loss record.

Former Houston Rockets guard Aaron Brooks overcame a disastrous CBA debut to help defending champions Guangdong Hongyuan beat rising power Tianjin Ronggang 125-105.

Brooks scored 14 points and dished out seven assists in 20 minutes.

In other games on Sunday, Jiangsu Dragons edged Fujiang SBS 90-89, Zhejiang Guangsha defeated Foshan Long Dragons 106-99, Liaoning Hengye beat Qingdao Doublestar 117-110.
