Twice Olympic table tennis silver medalist Wang Hao has shed over eight kilograms as he prepared for the London Olympic Games.

"I am in good shape now," said Wang after a training session that lasted over an hour in ExCel center.

The 29-year-old Wang lost to South Korean Ryu Seung Min in the 2004 final and was beaten by teammate Ma Lin in 2008.

"I didn't win gold medal in the past two Olympics," said Wang. "I hope I will have a new start this time. I am highly motivated now."

"This is the last Olympics for Wang and he doesn't have a second chance," said Wang's coach Wu Jingping.

Wang is drawn into the first half with former world champion Werner Schlager of Austria and German star Timo Boll, who is widely regarded the top threat to the Chinese men, while China's world championships and World Cup winner Zhang Jike is bundled with Belarus' Vladimir Samsonov and South Korea's Joo Se Hyuk.

"I am looking forward to meeting Zhang in the final," said Wang. "I am very confident and has reached my best form."
