Stefano Mauri scored a late away-goal to hand Lazio the advantage as they held Juventus to a 1-1 draw at the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on Tuesday.
Federico Peluso put the hosts 1-0 ahead with a header in the 63rd minute and they looked set to take that slender lead into the second leg as the clock ticked down.
But Mauri equalised in the 86th minute, turning the ball home at the far post from a corner, to hand Lazio the initiative heading into the return leg at Rome's Stadio Olimpico home next Tuesday.
In the semifinal, Roma will host Inter Milan at the first leg on Wednesday night.
