Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo was suspended on Tuesday by the French league's disciplinary committee.

Team player Thiago Silva was given a two-match ban following altercations with referee Alexandre Castro in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Valenciennes. Silva was sent off in the match for putting his hand on the chest of Castro to protest an earlier decision.

Leonardo appeared to deliberately shoulder-barge Castro in the tunnel after Castro made the sending off.

Leonardo has denied the allegation.
