Warsaw will be the venue for the Europa League final in 2015, the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) announced on Friday.
Polish Football Association (PZPN) president Zbigniew Boniek said that he was very glad Poland was granted the organisation of the final and stressed such event would promote Warsaw, Poland, Poles, our culture and soccer.
UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino said that they have decided to go back to Warsaw with excellent memories of Euro 2012 and because it is a fantastic, modern efficient venue in a wonderful city in the center of Europe.
Poland co-hosted Euro 2012 with Ukraine. Warsaw's National Stadium will be the first time to host a major European final.
