French Open organizers will not let Bernard Tomic's father into Roland Garros, even as a paying spectator.
The French tennis federation said yesterday that security officials have been told to bar John Tomic from the Roland Garros complex if he tries to enter with a ticket.
John Tomic has been charged with assaulting his son's hitting partner before the Madrid Open and has been barred from getting credentials to any ATP tournament.
Bernard Tomic of Australia will face Victor Hanescu of Romania in the first round today.
"Our tournament committee decided for the purpose of avoiding any trouble inside Roland Garros that Bernard's father will not be allowed in," the FFT said.
John Tomic is accused of head-butting Thomas Drouet.
