Li Na cruises, Serena Williams stunned at the Wimbledon fourth round Monday.

China's sixth seed Li Na sailed into the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a 6-2, 6-0 demolition of Italian 11th seed Roberta Vinci Monday.

The 2011 French Open champion took just 55 minutes to get past her fourth round opponent.

In reaching the last eight, Li has matched her Wimbledon best, having made the quarter-finals in 2006 and 2010.

The 31-year-old Chinese will face Polish fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska Tuesday for a place in the semi-finals.

Six-time champion Serena Williams suffered a shock defeat to Germany's 23rd seed Sabine Lisicki 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.

Williams said her serve failed her in the third set.

"I felt that I was on the verge of winning," she said. "At that point I just was physically unable to hold serve. ... You have to be ready and willing to hold your serve. I wasn't willing or able, probably didn't even want to hold my serve today."

Lisicki has beaten the reigning French Open winner at Wimbledon the last four times she played here: 2010 against Francesca Schiavone, 2011 over Li Na, last year vs. Maria Sharapova and again beating Williams.

"I'm still shaking," Lisicki said in a post-match interview. "I'm just so happy." She will play Kaia Kanepi in quarterfinals.
