Higuain set to join Napoli

Napoli have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to Spanish media on Tuesday.

An AS report said, Napoli will pay 37 million euro for the Argentine international, plus a further three million euro if certain bonus clauses are later activated.

The 25-year-old forward will be paid six million euro one year, one million more than his salary in Real Madrid.

Napoli will introduce Higuain as replacement for Edinson Cavani who went to Paris Saint-German on a 64.5-million-euro transfer.
