Alain Perrin to coach China's soccer team

Frenchman Alain Perrin has been named as coach of China's national men's soccer team.

According to reports from Sina.com, a vice president of CFA (Chinese Football Association), has confirmed the appointment today.

The 57-year-old began his coaching career as junior coach to Arsene Wenger, and went on to coach several French teams, including Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais.

His main task with China will be leading the team to compete in the 2015 Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia.
