Ivana Jorovic of Serbia has been given the ultimate seal of approval after catching the eye of world No.1 Novak Djokovic.
Jorovic, the world No.1 junior girl, bumped into Serbian compatriot Djokovic earlier this summer and was stunned to discover that the seven-time Grand Slam winner knew all about her.
"He said he heard a lot of things about me and we talked about my career," revealed Jorovic, who joins the seniors after the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
"He's a really nice guy. I was shaking. I was watching him and thinking, 'Wow, he's talking to me'.
"I like him as a player. I want to be like him, I hope I will. On the court he is smart and can teach us everything, and off the court he teaches us how to behave. He is unbelievable."
Jorovic is on course to meet Daria Kasatkina of Russia in what would be a repeat of the girls' final at Roland Garros this summer.
Kasatkina won that battle in three sets but Jorovic is not contemplating defeat.
Instead, the teenager, who will be flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, believes that the pride of representing her country will drive her on and help her check her temper.
"There is more pressure when you play for your country but I think I will play even better. I have to be at my best to win," Jorovic said.
"I sometimes get angry on court. When I see that I should be playing my best tennis, but at that moment I can't, then it annoys me.
"Sometimes I talk to myself but I am trying to be more relaxed, more focused.
"I really wish to win this Olympic Games, this is my last junior tournament and I really want to do this.
"It is also a big honor to be flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony. It means so much to me," said Jorovic.
