Turkish super league Fenerbahce has completed the transfer talks with Serbian player Lazar Markovic on one year loan from Liverpool, the club stated on its official website Sunday.

Markovic expressed his desire to play for Fenerbahce by stating, "Looking forward to play first game for a club. Thank you for all your support and welcome messagese" on his social media account while taking his medical examination in a hospital in hospital.

Markovic had joined Liverpool in the beginning of the 2014-2015 season for GBP 20 million move after impressing with Portuguese side Benfica.

Fenerbahce have taken the summer transfer market by storm, signing Manchester United pair Robin van Persie and Nani.
