China U-19 loses to Slovakia 0-1 in Panda Cup tournament

The goal scored by Michal Kralovic ensured Slovakia U-19 national football team win over China U-19 1-0 at 2017 Panda Cup international youth football tournament on Sunday.

The host team has already conceded two straight losses to Hungary and Iran respectively. In the match against Slovakia, the Chinese team transformed to 4-4-1-1 format but still unable to control the midfield at the beginning of the match. Captain Liu Ruofan missed a golden opportunity as he dribbled in the penalty area but failed to pass the ball in the 35th minute.

After a goalless first half, Slovakia finally opened the scoring at the 61st minute through forward Michal Kralovic's shot, 15 minutes after Xu Yue's long range shot denied by the crossbar. China fought hard in the last 30 minutes and created some scoring chances by Guo Tianyu and Yu Junwei failed to convert any of them.

Earlier in the day, Hungary beat Iran 2-0 as Bendeguz Bolla and Levente Lustyik scored in 12th and 42nd minutes.
