Hu Xuefeng erupted for 40 points, eight steals, six rebounds and
five assists as the Jiangsu Dragons fended off the visiting
Guangdong Southern Tigers 118-113 in OT on January 11.
Zhang Cheng poured in 28 points while Yi Li tallied 16 points
for the Dragons. Jason Cruz also donated a double-double with 23
points and 13 rebounds in the win.
Yi Jianlian scored 33 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead
Guangdong, which has its 17-game winning streak halted.
Du Feng had 27 points and 13 rebounds. Zhu Fangyu and Dixon
Jason added 16 and 14 points respectively in defeat.
Yi Jianlian had 18 points to lead Guangdong 48-44 into the
locker room after half. But Hu Xuefeng became unstoppable in the
second half and helped Jiangsu tie the game 102-102 at the
regulation buzzer.
The bridegroom-to-be shot 7-of-14 three-pointers, including
one game-decider in OT, which finally gained Jiangsu its
fourth win in a row.
Also on Wednesday, Zhejiang beat Fujian 128-106, Bayi outplayed
Yunnan 105-95, Shaanxi downed Liaoning 114-94, Shanghai defeated
Dongguan 119-109 and Xinjiang routed Jilin 125-81.
