The Chinese women's football team began their European tour with
a scoreless friendly against host Holland on Thursday.
The Chinese players were a little weary in the first half, still
trying to recover from a long-hour flight that brought them to
Europe only the day before. But they managed to defend their net
and launched a series of attacks in the latter half, though
fruitless.
The match is part of China's preparation for the upcoming
Algarve Cup next month in Portugal. The practice also features
another friendly against Germany next Wednesday.
