Jiang Lingling won the fourth gold medal for the hosts on Sunday
when the 2006 International Taekwondo Championships China Open
closed.
Jiang won 4-2 over South Korea's Seo So-Youg in the final of the
women's 67kg match to help China atop the medals tally.
Chinese became the biggest winners of the three-day tournament
as Olympic Champion Luo Wei took women's +67kg title while teenager
Wu Jingyu and veteran Zong Shaojuan won women's 49kg and 57kg
respectively.
In the final of the men's +80kg match on Sunday, South Korean
Heo Jung-Syoung whitewashed Chinese Liu Xiaobo 3-0 after defeating
another Chinese player Zhu Feng 5-4 in the semi-final.
In men's 68kg, Jamil Al-khuffash from Jordan overcame a hard
final to edge South Korea's Lee Won-Jae 5-4.
South Korea finished second in the medals tally with two
golds.
The other gold came from men's 58kg by Ko Seok-Hwa, who beat
Faris Al Assaf 2-0 on Friday.
Men's 80kg title went to Italian Universiad champion Sarmiento
Mauro on Saturday.
