Spanish giants Barcelona conquered Levski Sofia 2-0 in a Group A
match of the European Champions League in Sofia on
Wednesday.
French right winger Ludovic Giuly scored the first goal, taking
advantage of a weakness in the Blues' defence and left Bulgaria's
goalkeeper Georgi Petkov helpless in the 5th minute.
The Bulgarians remained unabated, though, and even sent a few
dangerous blows at Barca goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The first half of the match was marked by the impressive
performance of Borimirov and the poor showing of Barca's star
Ronaldinho.
However, Barca's Iniesta scored the second goal to make to 2-0
in the 65th minute, after which the Blues went down quickly and
left the stadium training court for the guests and also show stage
of Ronaldinho.
It's a must for Barcelona to beat Levski Sofia to surely avoid a
shocking exit from the Champions League.
A total of 1,400 policemen made sure there are no incidents
during the game between Bulgaria's FC Levski and Barcelona.
