Two weightlifters from Uzbekistan tested positive for doping at the Asian Games with both being disqualified from the Games, Husain Al Musallam, director general of the Olympic Committee of Asia, said on Sunday.

Elmira Ramieva, who finished fifth in the women's 69kg class, was found to have used an anabolic steroid, while Alexander Urinov, seventh-place finisher in the men's 105kg division, tested positive for cannabis-related substance, said Al Musallam.

Both have been disqualified from the Games. The news came one day after Myanmar's female weightlifter Than Kyi Kyi tested positive for a banned diuretic in the Games' first doping case.
