Australia will face a full-strength China next week after the
Asia heavyweight recalled its Europe-based stars for the
international in Guangzhou on March
24.
Playmaker Zheng Zhi, on loan at English Premier League club
Charlton Athletic, will captain the 24-man squad for the matches
against Australia and Uzbekistan three days later in Macau.
PSV Eindhoven defender Sun Xiang, Manchester United striker Dong
Fangzhuo, Energie Cottbus midfield player Shao Jiayi and Manchester
City defender Sun Jihai have also included in the squad, which will
begin a 10-day camp on March 19.
The Socceroos named a 20-man squad earlier this week with
several World Cup stars unavailable because of injury and other
commitments.
The match forms part of both side's preparations for the Asian
Cup finals in July.
