China is likely to play the away game against Myanmar in the
world cup qualifiers in Penang, Malaysia, website sohu.com
reports.
It's the second time that the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)
has changed the venue since local conditions in Myanmar appeared
unfit for a sporting event.
The continent's football governing body had earlier proposed
Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, as the replacement, but
failed to get consent from related sides.
China is to play Myanmar in Foshan in southern Guangdong
Province on October 21 and will take the second leg in Malaysia on
the 28th.
Penang is the second largest city in Malaysia. Seventy percent
of its over one million population are Chinese descendants.
