Indian tennis duo eye Olympic gold
Adjust font size:

Former men's doubles kings Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati could be reunited at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The Indian duo won three grand slam titles together on the ATP tour before going their separate ways.

But they could now be set to go for gold in China next summer.

Paes said: "If you look at it on paper, the obvious choice for the doubles team would be Mahesh and myself.

"I would love to play with him if it does get to it and we both are in peak performance coming in to the Olympics.

"If you look at it, it is obviously the top choice but really peak performance and form is something of the moment and that happens down the track."
