The Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Denver Nuggets'
Allen Iverson were respectively named the Eastern and Western
Conference Players of the Week for games played last week, NBA
announced Monday.

the Week for games played last week.
James won the Eastern Conference award one day after he set a
franchise record for points in a quarter. In the 93-90 victory over
the Toronto Raptors, James scored 24 points in the fourth quarter.
The superstar finished the game with 39 points.
James led Cleveland to a 3-0 week, as his team defeated the
Hawks, Kings and Raptors. For the week, the forward averaged 33.0
points, 8.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.3 steals. He posted two
double-doubles during the week.
Iverson also led his team to a 3-0 week, averaging 33.3 points.
The signature performance for the Denver guard came in Sunday's
victory against his former team, as Iverson collected 38 points and
eight assists in a 109-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at Pepsi
Center.
