Kuznetsova fell back 0-3 in the first set and managed to fight back, but Radwanska rallied to the victory after she wasted six break opportunities.

Kuznetsova, who was struggling with a leg injury, established a 3-0 lead in the second but the Pole then launched a strong comeback to take 5-4 lead.

Radwanska save a break point in the final game and ran to the final victory at 6-4.

Play on the tournament's outdoor courts was all delayed because of the rain.
