Tayshaun Prince had 22 points and 10 assists, helping the Pistons win for the 14th time in 17 games and stay just three games behind Eastern Conference leader Boston.

Detroit shot 54.3 percent and had 28 assists.

The Clippers dropped their fifth straight overall.

In Memphis, Tennessee, Utah sent Memphis to its eighth straight loss.

Deron Williams had 19 assists and scored 13 points for the Jazz, which held its two-game buffer over Denver in the Northwest Division.
