Brazilian soccer star Kaka, who underwent surgery on his left knee on Friday, was freed on Saturday from the Rio de Janeiro hospital.
Despite the good news of the success of the simple surgery, the midfielder's performance is in doubt for the eliminatory games for the 2010 World Cup. The Brazilian national soccer team will face Paraguay on June 15 and three days later will play archrival Argentina in Belo Horizonte.
After leaving hospital, Kaka went to Sao Paulo were he will begin his physical therapy and rehabilitation. He will be under the direction of the Luis Rosan, physical therapist of the Sao Paulo soccer team and the Brazilian national team.
