FC Barcelona announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with Ajax to transfer defender Oleguer Presas to the Dutch side.

"Barcelona will receive 3 million Euros and a variable of 2.25 million euros depending on Ajax qualifying for the Champions League in the next three seasons," reads a statement on the official Barcelona website.

The 28-year-old signed for Barcelona's B team from local outfit Gramanet seven years ago. He made his first team debut in the Champions League in 2002, and has a total of 162 first team appearances in six seasons.
