Nalbandian likely to miss Masters Cup for Davis Cup
Adjust font size:

Argentina's world number seven David Nalbandian is mulling the possibility that would see him miss the season-ending Masters Cup in Shanghai to focus on the first Davis Cup for his country.

"The jet-lag from China to Argentina is terrible," he said on Tuesday after reaching the second round in the Stockholm Open.

"I'm not thinking about qualifying for Shanghai. We have a chance to win the Davis Cup and that's what I'm concentrating on. That's what I'm worrying about now."

The top seed needed only 54 minutes to deliver a crushing 6-1, 6-1 rout over American Bobby Reynolds in the opening round.
