FC Barcelona was one of several Spanish sides active in the transfer market before the transfer window closed at midnight on Monday night.
With the closing of the transfer window clubs can not now buy, sell or loan players until Jan 1, meaning that their squads are now closed until the New Year.
Barcelona was busy on the final day of the market, selling attacking midfielder Eidur Gudjohnsen to French side Monaco in the closing hours of the day.
Gudjohnsen joined Barcelona in 2006, but has never been a first team regular, although he has scored important goals in his three seasons with the club.
Meanwhile the club also reached an agreement with Racing Santander to loan central defender Henrique to Racing Santander.
Henrique joined Barcelona from Brazilian side Palmeiras, but was loaned to German team Bayer Leverkusen last season.
His good performances in Germany saw the 22-year-old spend the pre-season back with Barcelona, but the club has decided to loan him to Racing in order to gain more Primera Liga experience.
Other late deals in Spain saw Real Madrid defender Miguel Torres move to Getafe on a five-year deal, while Borja Valero returns to Mallorca on a season's loan from West Bromwich Albion.
One late move that didn't happen was Real Madrid's late attempt to buy French international Frank Ribery from Germany side Bayern Munich.
Ribery will now spend this season playing alongside former Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben, whiel Madrid considers a move from the forward next summer.
