Her father, Forrest Sr., invented M&Ms, then introduced malt-flavored nougat, the foundation of famous candy bar products that include Milky Way, Snickers and 3 Musketeers. The third generation inherited the company when her father died in 1999. Mars and her siblings now share ownership of world's largest candy company with $30 billion in sales.
