Jiuzhaigou Valley is a nature reserve and national park located in the northern part of Sichuan Province. It is known for its crystal lakes, multi-leveled waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped peaks and Tibetan culture. Travelling through the valley in autumn, especially in early September, you will be amazed by the colorful scenery unfolding before you.

Even if you would only like to stay in town, it will make for a memorable experience. Have some tea, enjoy the local food, chat with the locals, walk through the ancient streets, or just hang around in the unique towns in Sichuan and Chongqing.

It is best to visit the places by the end of October and early November.
