Top 10 universities in education in China

Education is classified into two categories: pedagogy, science of physical culture and sports, and into 16 majors for undergraduates.

Bachelor's degrees in education represented 3.49 percent of the total number of bachelor's degrees, Master's degrees in education represented 4.12 percent of the total, and doctoral degrees in education, 1.79 percent, according to statistics released by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council in 2010.

Statistics for doctoral advisors released by universities show that among 40,110 doctoral advisors in China, 709 received a degree in education, making up 1.77 percent of doctoral advisors.

The following are the top eight, among 375 universities, for degrees in education:
