Joachim Löw started his coaching career as a youth coach for FC Winterthur while he was still active as a midfielder. From 1994 to 1995 he was coach of FC Frauenfeld. In 2004 Löw joined the German national team as Jurgen Klinsmann's assistant. Following Klinsmann's decision not to renew his contract in July 2006, Löw was named the new head coach of Germany. This summer Löw and his team crushed Brazil 7-1 in the semifinal on July 8 and are preparing to fight to win their fourth World Cup.
