Verisk Maplecroft, a global risk and strategic consulting firm based in Bath, UK, has released a new report revealing the most dangerous places in the world, where you are most likely to face a terrorist attack.

A total of 64 cities are rated as at "extreme risk" in the firm’s new Global Alerts Dashboard (GAD), an online mapping and data portal that logs and analyzes every reported terrorism incident above the level of 100m² worldwide.

The title of the "highest risk urban center" goes to Baghdad, where over three people on average were killed every day in the 12 months to February. Over this period, the Iraq capital suffered 380 terrorist attacks resulting in 1,141 deaths and 3,654 wounded. In fact, the first six of the top 10 deadliest cities for terrorist attacks are all in Iraq, and the last four include three cities in Pakistan and one in Libya.

Covering 1,300 of the world’s most important commercial hubs and urban centers, the report was based on the intensity and frequency of attacks in the 12 months since February of last year, combined with the number and severity of incidents in the previous five years.

Here are the top 10 deadliest cities in the world for terrorist attacks.
