Positano is a village on the Amalfi Coast in Campania, Italy backed by hills. Amalfi Coast, reputed to be the most beautiful beach in Europe, has a lot of picturesque villages, among which the most beautiful is Positano. Here one can find the most comfortable hotels and super-luxury villas dotting the hills, where tourists can enjoy sunshine by the Mediterranean. The famous author John Steinbeck described Positano in a 1953 essay thus:"It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone."
