Top 10 happiest provincial capitals in China

Are you happy living in your city? Are you satisfied with your health, income, and marriage? A latest survey conducted by China Central Television releases the top 10 happiest provincial capitals in China in 2015.

The ranking was based on the investigation of more than 100,000 families and an analysis of Big Data on the Internet.

In the past year, 50.81 percent of respondents across China felt happy, 16.11 percent of which felt very happy and 34.7 percent of which felt relatively happy.

Changsha of Hunan Province has been rated as the happiest provincial capital in China, followed by Wuhan of Hubei Province and Hefei of Anhui Province.

Three factors were chosen by Changsha locals as the most important in relation to the happiness index, namely, health (58.72 percent), marriage and relationship (49.22 percent), and the environment (42.66 percent).

Very happy: 21.49 percent

Relatively happy: 30.85 percent

       health (56.33 percent)

       environment (43.5 percent)

       marriage and relationship (42.46 percent)
