No.9 Laogushi (Old Story) Restaurant

Laogushi (Old Story) Restaurant is a theme restaurant showing documentary films. It is located in the big yard of the Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio, the original location for many of the film stories known throughout our nation. It is almost unbelievable that an open restaurant can be found in such an old and solemn yard. This semi-private environment enables the restaurant to be elegant, noble and graceful as well as otherworldly; bearing a lingering literary atmosphere. The lights in the restaurant utilize the yard's warm colors to help customers sense its warmth and coziness, giving them the feeling that they could enter a movie scene right at any moment. Moreover, the decorations, which have a storied history, highlight the back-to-the-ancient theme. Meanwhile, the classic film posters on the wall remind older patrons of the good old days.
