Kunming
Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, started its 72-hour visa-free policy on July 22, 2014.
Transit passengers holding valid visas and onward tickets to a third country can stay visa-free in the administrative area of Kunming for three days. Travelers from 51 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, are eligible under the policy.
