Located in modern day's Xinzheng City, Henan Province, Zheng Han (郑韩故城) was the capital city of the Zheng and Han States. Established as the capital of the Zheng State during the late Western Zhou period (1046 – 771 BC), after the Han state overthrew the Zheng State in 375 BC it moved its capital this location. Having acted as the capital of the Zheng and Han states for over 500 years, the site was named as Zheng Han Ancient City.
Covering an area of 16 square kilometers, the city's skyline is roughly 15 meters above ground, with the highest point at 18 meters. In addition, a large number of cultural relics and royal cemeteries were found in here, including copper vessels, bells, tripod caldrons and wine vessels.
