South China's Guangdong Province has started creating its exhibition for the 2010 World Expo, which will feature a typical southern China architectural style outlook and a "Green Life" style.
The structure will shape in the style of Qilou building. As a stylishly classic fusion of Eastern and Western architecture, Qilou, or Chinese arcade houses, serve as a cultural landmark in the coastal cities of south China.
There will be digital and interactive sections showcasing Guangdong's imagination and efforts in creating a better and greener life. Guangdong's strength in innovation and production will also take the spotlight.

The government of Guangdong Province attached great importance to the province's participation. A series of meetings were held to polish its exhibition scheme, which was selected out of 38 entries.

Meanwhile, the logo for the province's pavilion has also been unveiled, which features the Chinese character of "粤" - Yue (refers to Guangdong in short) and an open window of sunshine, greenery and sea.
It displays an open window of Guangdong's achievement as the province stands at the forefront of China's reform and opening-up.
