Experts and scholars gathered in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi Province on January 6, to explore the topic of "cultural relics preservation and urban and rural sustainable development" in an Expo-themed forum.

United States professor in urban design and planning, Daniel B. Abramson, shared his vision about the development of agricultural tourism, deemed as an ideal measure to integrate sustainable growth and heritage preservation.

The forum was the 22nd of its kind as Expo forums are being held nationwide.
