Vincent, a 9-year-old boy from Austria:

My name is Vincent. I live in Vienna. I speak three different languages: German, English and Chinese. I like Vienna because it has many green parts, and cool amusement parks like the Vienna Prater. Vienna is also a very beautiful city with wonderful traditional buildings. But I do wish that fewer cars would drive on the streets, or at least that electric cars would take their place. I would also like for people to stop throwing rubbish on the ground. I would be happy to see more people play sports in the lovely green parts of the city, and keep these parts healthy. I also wish that the Olympic Games would take place in my city.

It would be also nice if it didn't not rain so much in Vienna, like this spring. All the best wishes to Shanghai Expo 2010!

Jake Rankin, a 14-year-old boy from the U.S.A.:

My name is Jake Rankin, and I have lived for 14 years in the city of Owasso. Owasso is a fast growing city of about 50,000 people; it is a suburb of Tulsa, located in northeast Oklahoma. I live with my parents and two older brothers. I am in the 10th grade, and my high school has 2,400 students. I like Owasso because of the many things I can do with my friends. Owasso has a movie theater, bowling alley, sports complex, and an outdoor mall. During the summers, I mow lawns for money. I enjoy playing the guitar, martial arts, and soccer. Owasso is a great place to live because the people are friendly.

I would like to live in a log cabin that I built myself in a small town next to a tall mountain range. I enjoy hiking, camping, and fishing. It would be great to fish in newly discovered new lakes and rivers in the mountains. I would take my friends to play a game of soccer in the local park or into the mountains to camp. I would also like to have a larger city that is nearby so that I could hear bands play. Zai jian!
