With an elevation of 4,700 meters above sea level, Namco Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world and a must-see scenic spot for tourists to Tibet. It's located in the remote parts of northern Tibet's grassland, with an area of over 1,900 square kilometers. In Tibetan, Namco means "Tianhu", or "a lake in heaven".
