Traffic administration in Qingdao, one of the Olympic host cities, has said it will not take any large-scaled traffic control measure during the August Games.
Traffic restriction will be carried out around the Olympic venues, Qilu Evening News reported, quoting sources from the city's communication department.
The authorities will also not implement an "odd-and-even" rule for vehicles, which will be put into force in Beijing until the end of the Paralympics in the hope of less traffic pressure and better air quality.
Qingdao, a harbor city in east China's Shandong province, will host sailing events during the Beijing Olympics.
