China's Spring and Autumn Travel Service has entered into a partnership with online payment solution provider Paypal for exploring the inbound travel market.
In January 2008, China's Spring and Autumn Travel Service launched its online e-commerce website for inbound travel, targeting foreign tourists. At present, SATS's e-commerce website mainly provides English language services, but the company plans to make it a multi-language website in the future to better develop the inbound travel service.
It is understood that the first challenge faced by an e-commerce website is payment credit and client sourcing. The cooperation with Paypal is expected to help SATS resolve the issue of credit payment.
Wang Qi, general manager of the Inbound Travel E-commerce Department of SATS, said that the partnership with PayPal ensures a high starting point in exploring the inbound travel market for SATS.
Stimulated by the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2010 Shanghai Expo, China's inbound travel market is warming up with more and more foreign tourists coming to visit the country. That's why travel companies like SATS are rushing to prepare for the inbound travel.
