The second Cross-straits Culture Industry Expo will be staged at the Xiamen Culture and Art Center between October 28 and November 1, aimed at carrying forward Chinese culture and promoting the amalgamation of the mainland and Taiwan's culture industry.

Seven series of activities will be held, including city forums, promotion meetings, artistic performances, innovation competition and other related activities. Taiwan participants will account for over 30% of the total exhibition booths.

The expo is composed of three domains: exposition and trade, city forums and related activities. More than 1,000 standard booths, covering various themes like traditional art, modern art, film and television, will be on display.

City officials, famous scholars and culture industry elite from both Taiwan and the mainland will be invited to attend the city forums.
