If you want to spend a weekend in Qingdao, we suggest flying to Qingdao after work on Friday. Of course, you need to book a room before you go!

Day 1:

Zhanqiao Pier is  the symbol of Qingdao.

On the first day, you need to get up early. Start by visiting Zhanqiao Pier (take bus 2, 5, 305, 307, 316, 321, 501, 801), the symbol of Qingdao. Then take a taxi or bus to the famous Badaguan Scenic Area (take bus 26, 304, 315, 31, 228, 316, 321, 501, 801 to Wushengguan Road Stop), which is the best place to appreciate the combination of red walls, green trees, blue sea and azure sky. Since most roads in Qingdao are one-way streets, this route not only saves time but also money.

Qingdao Polar Ocean World  has the largest ocean theater.

After a morning tour of Badaguan Scenic Area, you can walk along the seaside to the Marine Product Museum (take bus No.6, 26, 223, 304, 311, 501, 801 to Lu Xu Park stop). During the walk, you will find many fine restaurants on Laiyang Road to sample local food. If you want to see an animal performance, we recommend the Qingdao Polar Ocean World (take bus 11, 317, 501, 801), which has the largest ocean theater able to accommodate 2,800 people. Whales, dolphins, sea lions and walrus perform together.

you can go to  No.2 Bathing Beach and take a swim in the sea at dusk.

At dusk, you can go to No.1 Bathing Beach or No.2 Bathing Beach and take a swim in the sea.

End the first day tour by enjoying some bottles of beer and sea food at the Beer Town of Dengzhou Road (take bus No.217, 11, 205, 15) - a wonderful experience!

Day 2:

Laoshan Mountain is a must-see attraction.

Laoshan Mountain is a must-see attraction. It is said to be the home of the "supernatural Spirits". It will need a whole day to experience its attractions. We suggest walking through the southern line (take bus No.104, 113, 304 because the distance is shorter and attractions are more concentrated. Besides, you can see the old urban area of Qingdao. If you have more time, you can climb to the top of the Signal Hill or Little Fish Hill and enjoy an overall view of Qingdao.
