December 19 saw tourists enjoy a day of fun activities at the opening ceremony of the Golden Mountain Ski Resort in Qingdao. Activities included skiing shows and a tour of the resort.

The resort, which covers an area of 29 hectares and can accommodate 1,500 skiers, offers visitors a choice of two primary ski slopes, two intermediate slopes, one advanced slope and one snow cubing slope.

Facilities at the resort include snowmobiles, sightseeing cable cars as well as snow cubing facilities. There are also 1,500 sets of snowboards made by internationally renowned companies.
