Qingdao textile and garment export fair set for April start

The 16th Qingdao International Textile and Garment Export Fair will kick off in Qingdao, a coastal city of Shandong province, on April 28, 2012. The three-day fair is sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Shandong government. The 50,000-square-meter exhibit area will be divided into five sections showcasing men's clothing women's clothing, children's wear, jeans, and comprehensive items, respectively. Of the more than 1,200 buyers expected to attend the fair, more than 70 will be big buyers such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Metro (MGB), IKEA and OTTO. The fair will also feature a dozen international lectures.
