Qingdao invests 95.78 mln yuan in tree planting

Qingdao is set to begin the first phase of its new tree-planting project, according to the Qingdao Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Development on Feb 22.

The 15 km long project extends from Tuandao to Tiandijian, and has received investment totaling 95.78 million yuan (US$15 million). Divided into six phases, the project will see tress planting in parks and squares including Badaxia Park, Luxun Park and Jinhai Square.
