Eastern China's coastal city Qingdao has been named as the fourth venue of the Sailing World Cup to hold two regattas during Oct. 12-19, 2013 and Oct. 11-18, 2014 seasons, according to an announcement on the ISAF official website.
The Chinese venue joins Melbourne, Palma and Hyeres in the list of named venues, becoming the first Asian venue for the world event.
Launched by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) in 2008, the Sailing World Cup is an annual event open to the sailing classes chosen for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Competitions.
