Qingdao launches its biggest solo shopping mall

A 170,000-square-meter solo shopping mall recently opened in Chengyang District of Qingdao City, becoming another landmark of the city.

The mega building Oriental Center boasts the biggest solo shopping mall in the city, with five floors on the ground and one storey underground. It features a 2,200-unit parking lot, a luxury cinema, a supermarket, an appliance store, a skiing field, a department store, and 20,000-square-meter dining space with international well-known chain restaurants.

In addition, the cinema accommodates the coastal city's first 5-D movie room with 12 seats, which will move along with movie playing, the cinema's manager said. Audience is able to make interactions with the roles in the film.
